Cool Android Home Screen 3

Your Android can be, if you desire, an expression of you. One of the best things about the Android ecosystem is the limitless possibilities when it comes to changing the look and feel of your device. I’m not talking about just changing the wallpaper (though that helps), I mean even how you interact with the interface.

A perfect example of this is the New Tiles UI from MyColorScreen user Altavizta. The package includes a Photoshop PSD, fonts and preferences for the Minimalistic Text app all complementing each other for this wonderful looking Android homescreen.
It’s a little bit of work, though not hard it can take a while mostly because you’ll find yourself constantly pausing the tutorial video below to catch up.
That said, the results make it well worth the effort and if you’re feeling adventurous you can add your own touches and deviate from the instructions. You’ll need Nova Launcher or Apex launcher, though the video demonstrates instructions for Nova so Apex users (like myself) will simply have to hunt around the menus to find the same settings.
Start by downloading the files here, set aside about 30 – 45 minutes and follow the tutorial video below. You’ll also need to install Minimalistic Text (the free version will suffice) and either Nova or Apexlauncher.
