One thing is confirmed that Google is not going to slow down the pace of releasing Updates of Android OS. Recently Google launched Android Jelly bean 4.3 that brought many new features with it. The update was released with Nexus 7 second generation. Now Google is on its way to announce Key Lime Pie 5.0 in near future. According to rumors, Google may announce the Key Lime pie 5.0 update as soon as October 2013 but it has not been announced officially. It has been assumed that tech giant will time the new release with one of their own product just like Google announced Android Jelly bean 4.3 with Nexus 7.
Since Google has recently released Jelly Bean 4.3, it is expected that Lime Pie 5.0 update will not be released for at least few a month. The update may come out in 4th quarter of 2013 or in the beginning of 2014. Google will be celebrating 5th birthday of Android that is why it is speculated that they will celebrate with the release of new OS key Lime Pie 5.0.
Now let’s talk about the features that are going to come with Key Lime Pie 5.0. Google Babel is the feature that will merge the collection of different popular messengers such as talk, Voice, SMS, Gmail and others into one service. Better control over the profiles of different users feature might also be enhanced in Key Lime pie 5.0 so that users can control their data more effectively within their profiles. Similarly, Lockscreen feature will enable the users to put the widgets in the Lockscreen. Another expected addition to Key Lime Pie 5.0 is revamped keyboard to make the typing experience smoother and faster.
Lime Pie 5.0 could include camera update for Samsung smart Phones exclusively. The update named Samsung Orb for the camera is software which will create panoramic photo across 360 degrees. Note that this update will only be provided to Samsung Smart Phones devices. An interesting thing to know is that Samsung has already confirmed that 5 Samsung devices will get lime pie 5.0 update after its release.
